Bone and Sprite Integration System

UPDATE 4/17/2014

Get ready! Things to come:

  • EARLY SURPRISE - Curve editing for bone parameters (separate x, y, scale, angle, color curves). We weren't planning this until a later version!
  • Redesigned timeline editor for individual bones and parameters.
  • All UI text is finally localized and ready for translation!
  • Separate scaling on x and y bone-aligned axes
  • Sprite Export
  • Numerous bug fixes and minor improvements
  • SDK - Initial Monogame support
  • SDK - Initial Unity support
  • Many other features and surprises being prepped for future versions… stay tuned!

And finally Basis will stop being free, along with our new website and the new version launch. The above features are great, but the development time is taking too long. Things that can be done in days take weeks. Things that can be done in weeks take months. The only way to improve this situation (we have families and need jobs to support them) is for Basis to start supporting itself. As we wrap up the final features for release 0.94 and launch the new Basis site, please consider supporting Basis and spread the word about this great software. We think our users will be quite happy with the pricing, and it is the only chance we have to make Basis into the software it is meant to be without taking years to do it. Thank you everyone for your encouragement and support in this journey so far.
